|1 c||shortening, butter flavor|
|1/2 c||brown sugar|
|1 1/2 c||flour|
|1 tsp||baking soda|
|ADD ONE BEATEN EGG. ADD DRY
INGREDIENTS TO SUGAR MIXTURE
|1 lg||beaten egg|
|1 1/2 c||quick oats|
|3/4 c||crushed walnuts or pecans|
these are not really very oatmeally but are scrumptious!! the prep time is misleading as 1 hour is for chilling the dough. it’s worth the wait! 🙂
follow above directions. CHILL ONE HOUR
Put walnut sized pieces on a greased cookie sheet. Butter the bottom of a small glass. Dip in sugar and flatten out each walnut sized ball. Re-sugar glass each time, before flattening dough ball.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
